Drama, paparazzi, and rumors surround celebrity relationships, but one thing is for sure; we love them! As fans, we want to know who our favorite celebs are dating or married to, and we want to know everything that's going on in their relationships.

Many celebrity couples like Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, Meryl Streep and Don Gummer, and Justin and Hailey Bieber give us hope for love. Still, one major thing Hollywood relationships are known for is divorce! Many celebs have gotten divorced sooner than expected, and here is a list of all those doomed marriages that were very short-lived.

 

Cher and Gregg Allman: 9 Days

The music icon Cher has not had a very smooth sailing love life and was married to Sonny Bono for more than ten years. The two were in a duo together called "Sonny and Cher," but after their divorce, Cher found comfort in the arms of Gregg Allman. He was known of performing in the "Allman Brothers Band" and got married to Cher just three days after her divorce was finalized.

The decision was so hasty that it was bound to end in divorce, and it did, nine days later. The reason was Allman's alcoholism. He passed away in 2017, and Cher took to Twitter to mourn his death.

Nicolas Cage and Lisa Marie Presley: 3 1/2 Months

Actor Nicolas Cage has had his fair share of unsuccessful marriages and has been divorced four times. However, his marriage to the singer and daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, lasted the shortest. They met in 2000, and at the time, Presley was engaged to somebody else, but she broke off her engagement and started dating Cage.

They married on August 10th, 2002, and Cage filed for divorce on November 25th, 2002. He got married three times after her, and in 2021, he married internet personality Rhiko Shibata.

Jennifer Lopez and Cris Judd: 7 Months

Singer, dancer, producer and actress, Jennifer Lopez has seen a very successful career and is considered one of the most popular celebrities today. However, when it comes to marriage, 'J.Lo' has not had the best of luck. She married choreographer Chris Judd in 2001, and the couple had a secret ceremony.

In July 2002, Lopez filed for divorce. Her first two marriages were very short and both, lasted less than a year, but her marriage to Marc Anthony lasted ten years and produced two children. Lopez has found love again, and in 2021, she is making headlines for getting back with her ex, Ben Affleck.

 

Kacey Musgraves and Ruston Kelly - 2 1/2 Years

Grammy-winning singer, Kacey Musgraves has seen a lot of success in her career and is known for hit songs like, "Follow Your Arrow," "Simple Times" and "Slow Burn." However, she has not had great luck in her marriage with "Just For The Record" singer, Ruston Kelly.

The two got married in 2017 and filed for divorce in 2020, less than three years after getting hitched. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Musgraves said, "It's two people who love each other so much, but for so many reasons, it just didn't work."

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth: 7 Months

Actress and singer, Miley Cyrus got close to her "The Last Song" co-star, Liam Hemsworth in 2009 and the pair have had an on-again off-again relationship for many years until they tied the knot in 2018. They got married in a secret ceremony and shared the news via Instagram. Unfortunately, their marriage did not last and ended in divorce seven months later.

They did not get back together after that but in an interview, Cyrus revealed that she still has a lot of love for Hemsworth. They went their separate ways and Hemsworth is dating model, Gabriella Brooks while Cyrus dated Cody Simpson but revealed she is single as of 2021.

Eminem and Kim Mathers: 3 Months

Rapper Eminem has a long and complicated history with his ex-wife Kim Mathers. They married not once but twice and met in 1988. They welcomed their daughter in 1995 and tied the knot four years later. They got married in 1999 and divorced in 2001, and Eminem even wrote a song about her and exposed all their dirty laundry.

They got married a second time in 2006 and divorced less than three months later. They have one child together, and Eminem adopted her sister's daughter and her daughter from another relationship. In 2021, his adopted daughter, Alaina, got engaged.

Janet Jackson and James DeBarge: 8 Months

Teenage rebellion can make us do a lot of immature things and celebrities are also not immune to it. Singer, Janet Jackson married R&B musician, James DeBarge at the age of 18 and DeBarge was 21. The two eloped and had been dating for two years.

According to DeBarge's sister, Jackson got pregnant during the time of their annulment and had a secret child together. Jackson has not addressed these rumors but welcomed her first child in 2017 at the age of 50 with her husband, Wissam Al Mana. In 2021, her documentary "Janet" was released.

Kid Rock and Pamela Anderson: 4 Months

"Baywatch" star, Pamela Anderson has been married five times. She met rocker, Kid Rock in 2001 and he popped the question a year later. However, their marriage was turbulent from the start and they didn't see eye to eye on many major beliefs.

They have no children together and after they divorced, Rock accused Anderson of manipulating the press and faking a miscarriage. Anderson, on the other hand, took the high road. Anderson told Rolling Stone, "We were married for four months. If he has nothing nice to say about me, then please tell him to stop talking about me." She married Dan Hayhurst in 2020.

Colin Farrell and Amelia Warner: 6 Months

Actor, Colin Farrell started his career in the BBC drama, "Ballykissangel" and has since appeared in many shows and films like, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," "Total Recall" and "The Gentlemen." He met actress and singer, Amelia Warner in 2000 and they tied the knot in 2001.

The actor recalls it as "too fast and too young" and Warner is now married to Jamie Dornan. Farrell did not remarry but has been linked with Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie, and Nicole Narain. In 2021, Farrell can be seen in the film, "The North Water."

Sinead O 'Connor and Barry Herridge: 16 Days

Sinead O'Conner is a singer and songwriter best known for her songs, "Nothing Compares 2 U," "The Last Day of our Acquaintance" and "Mandinka." She has been married many times and her fourth marriage to Barry Herridge only lasted 16 days in 2011. The reason O'Conner gave for the divorce was pressure from people in his life.

On her website, she announced the divorce and said, "He is a wonderful man. I love him very much. I'm sorry I'm not a more regular woman. I truly believe though it is painful to admit, we made a mistake rushing into getting married." In 2021, she retired from music and touring.

Paula Abdul and Brad Beckerman: 17 Months

Paula Abdul is a singer, dancer, actress, and TV show judge best known for being a part of projects like, "American Idol," "The X Factor (U.S.)" and "The Masked Dancer." In 2020, she was seen in "Impractical Jokers: The Movie." She has been married twice and her second marriage to Brad Beckerman ended less than two years later.

Zooey Deschanel and Ben Gibbard: 2 Years

Actress, Zooey Deschanel is best known for starring in "New Girl," "500 Days of Summer" and "Trolls." She eloped with the singer and frontman of the band, "Death Cab for Cutie," Ben Gibbard after a year of dating in 2009. Unfortunately, their marriage did not last and they filed for divorce two years later due to "irreconcilable differences."

The life of a rock star isn't like a normal person's so it's not common to see rock stars giving up their wild lives to settle down. Axl Rose, singer of "Guns N' Roses" tried to settle down when he married Erin Everly in 1990 but their marriage did not last.

He met the model at a party in 1986 and even after dating for so long, their marriage ended just one month later. Rose filed for divorce stating "irreconcilable differences" and that was the end of their tumultuous romance. In 2021, the band has returned with the song, "Hard Skool."

Katy Perry and Russell Brand: 14 Months

Before the "I Kissed a Girl" singer, Katy Perry welcomed her baby daughter with fiancé, Orlando Bloom, she was married to comedian, Russell Brand. Brand popped the question three months into dating and they were married in 2010. Their marriage soon chartered into rocky territory and they had differences on everything.

Perry wanted to party and didn't want kids right away while Brand wanted to stay at home and start a family. Brand, on the other hand, blamed her pop career for the split, blasting: "I'm associated with the very thing I detest: vapid vacuous, plastic, constructed, mindless celebrity." He said in an interview. They divorced in 2011.

Adele and Simon Konecki: 2 Years

Artists take their pain and turn it in art and that is exactly what Adele did with her 2021 album, "30." She wanted to explain the divorce with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki to her son via the album. They started dating in 2011 and welcomed their son in 2012. They tied the knot in 2018 and split in 2019.

They tried to make their marriage work but officially divorced the year after their split. "If I can reach the reason why I left, which was the pursuit of my own happiness, even though it made Angelo really unhappy," she said in an interview.

Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich: 3 Years

Most marriages were put to the test in 2020 and so was Julianne Hough and Brooks Laich's marriage. Hough is a dancer and singer and married ice hockey player, Laich in 2017. They started dating in 2014 but even after being together for so many years, they announced their separation in the start of 2020.

She filed for divorce in November 2021 and while their relationship started off great, it hit a rocky path a few years later. They have no children together and took their separate paths.

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger: 2 Years

Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger fell in love over music. They spent a lot of time recording songs together and got engaged a little over one month after getting to know each other. They had an instant connection, but unfortunately, their marriage did not last very long.

Before Kroeger, Lavigne was married to Deryck Whibley for four years and married Kroeger in 2013. She didn't let divorce ruin her bonds and is still friends with her ex-husbands. Kroeger and Lavigne still work together even though they divorced in 2015. In 2021, she collaborated with Travis Baker.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries: 72 Days

Kim Kardashian is the mother of four children and shares them with her ex-husband, Kanye West. But her marriage with West was not her first, and in 2011, Kardashian married NBA star Kris Humphries. They started dating in 2010 and divorced just 72 days later.

In an interview with Andy Cohen, Kardashian revealed that she went on with the marriage because it was being filmed for her show, "Keeping Up with The Kardashians," and she didn't want to be remembered as the runaway bride. Professional boxer, Mike Tyson is one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time. He has been nicknamed "Iron Mike," "Kid Dynamite" and even, "The Baddest Man on the Planet." He has been married three times and his marriage with his first wife, Robin Givens only lasted a year.

They got married in 1988 and divorced in 1989 due to Givens accusing him of domestic violence. They had a very rocky relationship since the start and that is why they have no kids together. Their divorce will be talked about in the 2021 documentary series, "Mike Tyson: The Knockout."

Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman: 9 Days

Dennis Rodman is a former professional basketball player and has some crazy stories up his sleeve. He is the unofficial Peace Ambassador to North Korea and has been a part of projects like, "Bad As I Wanna Be: The Dennis Rodman Story," "Simon Sez" and the 2020 documentary, "The Last Dance."

He has been married three times and his marriage to Playmate and "Baywatch" star, Carmen Electra lasted the shortest. They eloped together in 1998 but filed for an annulment nine days later. They reconciled only to get divorced in 1999.

Audrina Partridge is a reality TV star best known for starring on "The Hills." She started dating BMX rider, Corey Bohan in 2008, and by 2015 they were engaged. Their relationship was rocky from the start but in 2016 they tied the knot and got divorced just one year later.

She filed for a restraining order due to claims of him being physically abusive. They have one daughter together but Partridge was granted full custody in 2018. Seems like she has moved on from her traumatic past as in 2021, she is rumored to be dating Brody Jenner.

They got married in 1994 when Barrymore was just 19, and Thomas was 31. Their marriage only lasted 19 days, and Barrymore realized her mistake the next day. She went on their honeymoon alone and called things off. Since 2020, she has been hosting her own show, "The Drew Barrymore Show."

Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada: 41 Days

NFL star, Chad Johnson married Evelyn Lozada who starred in "Basketball Wives" in 2012. However, the pair broke up less than 2 months later. The reason? Assault and domestic violence charges. They had a fight as Lozada believed Johnson was cheating and Lozada ended up with a bloody gash on her head.

He was arrested and lost his job with the Miami Dolphins. In 2020, in a Twitter post, he claimed that he lost his temper for "3 seconds" and it cost him "a lifetime's worth of work." To which Lozada revealed that he assaulted her multiple times.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard: 15 Months

Johnny Depp has given us some great hits over the years like, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Alice in Wonderland." However, his career took a hit when his ex-wife and "Aquaman" star, Amber Heard accused him of domestic violence.

They got married in 2015 and just 15 months later, Heard filed for divorce stating that Depp beat her. In 2021, the pair have been dealing with the divorce in court and Depp has also been fighting a legal battle for reputation damage Heard caused him.

Star of the show, "The Real Housewives of New York City," LuAnn de Lesseps married Tom D'agostino on New Year's in 2016. However, their marriage didn't last and they divorced a few months. D'agostino was surrounded by cheating scandals and de Lesseps was seen slapping her husband at a restaurant in New York City.

D'agostino has been dating Danielle Rollins since 2019 and they have been seen many times together in 2021. He found a relationship that would last, it seems. She is also doing quite well-career wise and is now a cabaret performer.

Superstars, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were one of Hollywood's most beloved couples. They started falling for each other in 2005 on the sets of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" and this caused Pitt's relationship with his then-wife, Jennifer Aniston to collapse.

While the pair started off great, they've had quite a rocky marriage and filed for divorce in 2016 after being married for two years and together for 12. They have six children together and Pitt is trying to get equal custody in 2021 which Jolie is not accepting due to the fact that Pitt was allegedly abusive.

People who are fans of the teen drama series, "Riverdale" know who Vanessa Morgan is. She married baseball player, Michael Kopech in 2020 but divorced just less than 6 months later. Kopech filed for divorce while Morgan was still pregnant with their first child.

Their relationship status is under speculation and many believe that they have gotten back together. However, according to their Instagram posts, they are still in each other's lives and are co-parents to their son. She was also seen pregnant in the fifth season of "Riverdale" and often brings her boy to set.

Chris Randone was a contestant on the 14th season of "The Bachelor" and won the fifth season of "Bachelor in Paradise." He didn't just win the show but also fell in love with the bachelorette, Krystal Nielson. There was an instant connection and Randone popped the question on the show.

They got married in the sixth season of "Bachelor in Paradise" in 2019. However, their marriage did not last and in 2020 they announced their divorce just eight months after their wedding. "We are best friends that love and care for each other so deeply," they told Bachelor Nation.

Justin Hartley is best known for starring in the soap opera, "Passions" as well as TV series and movies like, "Smallville," "This Is Us" and "Bad Moms." In 2021, he finalized his divorce with Chrishell Stause and married his former co-star, Sofia Pernas the same year.
