You must be living under a rock if you don't know who the most beautiful twins in the world are. Ava Marie and Leah Rose, better known as the Clements Twins, have taken the world by storm with their striking beauty. This has turned them into influencers at the age of nine, making them modeling icons in the process.
Despite their popularity, the ride has been smooth or easy. Their mother has been criticized for exploiting their looks. They've also had to find a way to balance their fame, the work that goes with it, and being children. Here we detail their rise to fame and the challenges they face.
A Beautiful Marriage

Doesn't this just look like a couple who is going to make beautiful babies? Jaqi and Kevin Clements, a swimming coach currently working for JSerra Catholic High School, Married in 2003. They didn't immediately have children, and five years after getting married, they had their first child, a boy named Chase.
Despite taking so long to have their first child, the couple appeared to go into a baby-making mode. Not long after Chase was born, the couple discovered that they were pregnant again. This time it was double trouble too, as Jaqi was carrying twins.
Coming Early, Just Like They Always Do

If carrying twins wasn't hard enough, Jaqi was in for an even bigger surprise when the twins decided that they were coming earlier than expected. They came more than a month earlier on 7 July 2010, but they were born perfectly healthy.
The twins are a part of 11.4% of children who are born prematurely around the world. That's roughly 15 million births worldwide, which in turn equates to about one in 10 of births. Of those 15 million, 80% percent of them are unplanned premature births. According to the Jaqi, the twins' birth was announced, which is so like them.
Compliments On Top Of Compliments

Ever heard of the saying, "a face only a mother could love"? It's not uncommon for parents to think their kids are the most beautiful people in the world. While that is sometimes debatable with some kids, sometimes, some parents do have a point.
In Ava Marie and Leah Rose's case, their parents' admiration was backed up by friends and family. The twins would often get compliments from others, again not an uncommon thing for babies, but it did eventually reach a point where it was more than people saving face.
Intrigued By Modeling

The compliments switched from them being cute, to them being model material. Yes, friends and family started suggesting that Jaqi and Kevin should get the girls into modeling. Eventually, the mom had heard this enough time to sign the twins up with a modeling agency in Los Angeles when they turned six-months-old.
This process involved having some professional photo's taken and fishing around for a suitable and interesting model agency. The rate for baby models ranges between $25 to $75 per hour, with a common ground of $50. Some gigs, for major brands, sometimes pay upward of $125 per hour. Shoots usually last roughly two hours.
Modeling Career, Take One

After much trepidation and thought, Jaqi gave the modeling a shot. But of course, it wasn't as simple being notified about a job and making your way to a location for a two-hour shoot and leaving. Managing baby models involves a lot more leg work and planning.
Although baby models commonly land between two to three jobs a month, it can get busy. This is especially for the parent managing the child model, who is responsible for maintaining communication with the modeling agency and transporting the child to auditions and shoots.
Too Much Too Soon

Having one child is already a challenge, balancing the child's need with your own and that of a job. The more children you have, the more factors you have in your life, especially when said children are still babies or toddlers. This was the challenge Jaqi had.
With two-year-old Chase and a pair of six-month-old twin girls, it all started taking a toll on Jaqi. She was still settling into a new parenting regime; the twins were only six months old after all. With that being said, the twins' initial modeling stint only lasted three-months.
Giving Them A Normal Childhood

Despite her excitement at the prospect of starting a modeling career for her twins, it proved too much for the mother of three small children to handle. Besides that, she and Kevin also decided that it was too soon for the twins to get involved in the modeling industry.
Instead, they opted to let their children have a normal childhood, growing up with their peers instead of the spotlight. They were cautious since it's believed that early childhood stardom is a leading cause of Peter Pan Syndrome. This condition, where adults are stuck in a childish mindset, is often attributed to men but can appear in women as well.
A Love For Performing

Although their parents decided to pull them from the spotlight, their three months in it seemed to ignite something in the twin girls. They started enjoying the spotlight. Over and above that, they also had a taste for performance, often dancing and singing in front of family and friends.
They then decided to leave the decision to model up to the twins. Of course, they couldn't do that while they were toddlers, so Jaqi and Kevin decided to wait until the twins turned seven before giving them the option to choose.
It's All In The Signs

Many people choose number seven as their lucky number, and for Jaqi, that was no different. What made seven, even more relevant to her, was the fact that the girls were born on 7 July, i.e., the 7th day of the seventh month. So choosing that age for them to decide on their modeling career was quite easy for the superstitious Jaqi.
It was also the most practical since the girls were attending school by then and participating in extracurricular activities like swimming and dancing. But at the age of seven, the girls don't remember their original modeling stint, so Jaqi started pitching the idea from scratch.
Not Jumping In Head First

Of course, these spotlight craving twins didn't need much convincing about adding modeling to their list of extracurricular activities. According to Jaqi, they were jumping up and down and were extremely excited to start this new adventure.
But Jaqi still had trepidation and didn't want the girl to jump into the industry too fast. So she decided to break them in slowly. Plus, she had to go through the entire photoshoot and finding an agency admin again since the girls were older since the first time they did it.
Getting Ready for the Shoot

Luckily for Jaqi, she had the perfect springboard to both get photos to send to agencies, and give the girls a taste of what they were in for in the modeling industry. One of the neighbors owns a children's clothing store, and she offered to get the girls to model some of the clothing.
Jaqi was a bit of an amateur photographer and owned a Nikon Camera she got 10-years ago. She fished it out of her basement and dollied up the girls with curls and blusher for their first mini photoshoot.
Up And Down First Shoot

So, as Jaqi suspected, Ava and Leah enjoyed the photoshoot, although it came out looking a little different from what they expected. Also, there were a few teething problems with the struggling to concentrate and also actually get along.
According to Jaqi, there was some awkward and cattish moment between the girls for silly reasons. For instance, one thing that kept happening is one of the girls would look at the camera while the other looked into the distance. One then bumped into the other, and the other one pushed her back, thinking it was on purpose.
Putting It Down To Lack of Experience

Jaqi put the little quirks from the first shoot down to lack of experiences on the girl's part. She did, however, get enough material to create a portfolio for Ava and Leah. The photos came out pretty good, and she created an impressive resume with them.
Jaqi still had some reservations, though, and she was particularly concerned about whether agencies would be interested in the girls now that they were older. But she still had a few contacts and decided to hit them up with the photos. She heard back from every one of them.
Using Instagram As Extra Exposure

To add some weight to their profile and to give them some more modeling experience, Jaqi opened an Instagram account for them. The account was a dual account called
@clementstwins and also served as a platform for agencies to discover the girls through.
Being an Instagram model has become an actual thing with models making a name and a career out of posting on Instagram. It's said that Kylie and Kendal Jenner are one of the pioneers of the industry. For the twins, it was just a way to gain some modeling experience.
Momager With An Iron Fist

While the Instagram account was a good idea, Jaqi was also aware of the pitfalls of opening a public Instagram account for them. From predators to trolls to people who will badly influence them, Instagram is no place for a seven-year-old.
This is why Jaqi took a stance and decided to manage the account herself. She became the ultimate momager, controlling everything from which pictures are uploaded to which comments make their way to the twins' ears. She was bent on making her girls successful, without the negative impact of the industry.
Instant Insta Popularity

The Instagram account took off so fast it was like it hit the ground running. The success they had with the Instagram account was instant and incredible. In one month, the Instagram account grew from 1000 to 3000 followers.
Within a month, they were halfway to being micro-influencers, which are niche Instagrammers who have between 6,000 to 10,000 followers. While Jaqi was fearful that agencies wouldn't be interested in the girls, this Instagram account made put those fears to bed as it made several agencies take notice.
Picking And Choosing Between Agencies

Before she could even make a few calls, agencies were already beating down her door. Instead of her fear of no one wanting to sign the girls playing out, Jaqi had to deal with the fact that too many agencies wanted to sign the girls.
Now Jaqi and Kevin were left with a different dilemma... which agency to choose. Besides all of the agencies that contacted her via Instagram, she also had all of the contacts she made from before. In the end, they went with two agencies based in different countries.
Playing Double Agent

While it seems like a good idea to have two agencies representing you, it does come with pitfalls. While Ava and Leah starting getting work thick and fast, thanks to both agencies getting them gigs, and while there is nothing wrong with having two agencies from different countries representing you, things can get complicated.
This complication hit with Jaqi and the twins when one of the agencies called them about a massive Barbie audition they had lined up. The problem was that they had already attended that audition after being notified by the other agency. This made Jaqi worry about the impression it would make of her and the twins.
Coming Clean

There wasn't anything wrong with having two agencies, especially since the other was in a different country. This incident was just a clash of booking opportunities. With no other alternative, Jaqi decided to come clean and let the agency know that they had already been to the audition with another agency.
It turns out the agencies didn't mind at all, and they continued to work with the girls. It's not uncommon for models to have more than one agency, especially when they want to broader their horizons within other regions. The only time it's not on is if the model has an exclusive contract, limiting them to one agency.
Another Wave Of Instagram Success

It's said that no matter how many filters Instagram has, a professional headshot is always better than a selfie cam selfie. This proved the case with Ava and Leah when the renowned photographer and headshot specialist, Isa Battaglin, did a shoot with them.
The resulting photos were a hit on the girls' Instagram, and it had an almost instant effect on their profile. They instantly doubled their following to 15,000 people, and a week later, the following grew by 10,000 more, pushing them to 25,000. They currently sit on 1.8 million followers.
Discovering the Tactics of Insta Success

Despite the success the headshots got, the next step for Jaqi was to figure out how to duplicate that success with other pictures. With the profile getting a blue tick, she needed to keep the good stuff coming, and for that, she had to learn a valuable trick quickly.
That trick was reading the analytics provided by Instagram to get an idea of the trends on Instagram and which content she posts is getting the best engagement. She quickly learned what worked better, such as having both girls in the image work better than those with only one of them in it.
Even More Tricks Of The Trade

Jaqi also got some great advice from her friends, who were more Instagram Savvy than her. The one thing they told her was to be active. This includes using the right hashtags for the proper market connection, and following other like-minded or similarly aligned account.
She was also encouraged to be more interactive on the platform and to be careful about overposting. Many experts see this as one of the easiest ways to lose followers. It also leads to posting cheapened, less valuable content because you're posting for the sake of posting more.
Meeting New Friends And Family

The modeling gigs and Instagram success did more than give the girls fame and a disposable income. It also boosted their confidence and made them more sociable with other models and even kids at school. This has seen them grow their friends circle exponentially.
Jaqi sees this as more important than the success and puts the many challenges they've faced into perspective. She says that the girls don't even need long to make friends, and within 10-minutes of meeting a friend, they are usually hooked. What's most adorable is that they want to call these friends their cousins, as if though they're adding to their family.
Support, Advice, and Relatability with Other Moms

For Jaqi, one of the most important things she did since getting into the industry was befriending other people in the industry: from photographers to stylists, and especially other moms. This was most important to her because it gave her people to relate to, making the pressure easier for her to handle.
Her relationship with other moms has helped her pass the time at long shoots and seen her get some free advice from more experienced moms. She has also learned a thing or two about dealing with the pressure of the job. This left her in good stead with the challenges to come.
There Will Be Critics

One thing is inevitable with the internet age and social media. There will be critics. Even for someone as innocent as Jaqi, who is just a mother helping her children do something they like to do. Jaqi understood that this would happen, but she still didn't expect some of the harsh criticism she got.
For Jaqi, some of the biggest criticisms revolve around the girls' happiness, how she is exploiting their beauty, and that she was taking their childhood away from them. It was particularly hard for her since it is in her nature to bite back at criticism.
Why So Serious

In the modeling industry, one of the key skills a model has is to be able to pull emotion and play a character in the blink of an eye... from one shot to the next. It's a lot like acting but for still cameras instead of recording ones.
Yet one of the biggest criticisms Jaqi receives is that her children look so sad in their photo. This is even though, as Jaqi explained, a) they're playing a role for the shot and b) It's them doing a serious shot. But she maintains that the girls have a happy childhood.
Way Less Makeup Than You Think

Another criticism Jaqi received was for the makeup Ava and Leah wear in their shots. Of course, they may be concerned by the girls wearing makeup at such a young age and the resulting skin issues it could cause. But it also needs to be acknowledged that this is par for course in the modeling industry.
But, as Jaqi explains, the makeup and hair are being done by professionals who know what they're doing. She also notes that the makeup the twins are subject to is way less extravagant than the fake lashes, nails, and exaggerated makeup some toddler pageant queens wear.
A Normal Childhood By Modern Standard

The criticism that cuts her the most is when someone commented about her allowing them to be kids. This one struck a nerve because it implies that she and Kevin are robbing their girls of childhood and that they know what they like and don't like.
The strangest thing about that comment is that the girls chose to have modeling careers. Also, as Jaqi pointed out, her girls are having a more normal childhood than most other children. Considering that most children these days are stuck in devices and on the internet, Ava and Leah like sports, dancing, and modeling.
Having them Trapped In A Mommy Life Lesson

One of the biggest challenges Jaqi had to face was the constant traveling and carting of the girls around. One time, they had more than one shoot, and the second one was in Los Angeles, a 5-6 hour drive from where the first audition was.
While she acknowledges that it's taxing for her, she is glad that the girls can occupy themselves with homework or movies. For her, it's a chance to get lost in her mind and, to listen to music, and to teach her girls some life lessons. A car is a perfect place for this since the twins have nowhere to escape to.
It's More Expensive Than People Think

In our imagination, models travel and live on all expenses paid trips that cost them absolutely nothing. Well, that may be the case for supermodels, but for twins just starting in the industry, they have to foot the bill themselves, even if they are known as the most beautiful twins in the world.
It's also pretty insane how easily the cost of child modeling increases, as Jaqi explains. The highest cost is the money for petrol, which, she says, can easily amount to a car's payment. Then there are things like buying food during long trips to shoots, and regularly funding headshots for new gigs, they're applying for.
Equipping Them For The Future

While the modeling industry comes with its challenges and expenses, Jaqi and Kevin Clement see it as an opportunity. All of their sweat and money allow their daughters to pursue a hobby they enjoy very much. It's also setting them up with some nifty skills moving forward in life.
For Jaqi, this allows her to build up a nice college fund for her girls. But it is also teaching them a bona fide skill and a guaranteed method of making money while they're studying or if they choose to continue their pursuit of modeling.
Discovering Who You Can And Can't Trust

Another major challenge Jaqi and Kevin dealt with as Ava and Leah's popularity grew was trusting the wrong people. In her blog, although she doesn't say as much, she implies that they've had a run-in with someone who may have claimed to have their best interest at heart, but are just looking for a quick score.
Whatever that experience was, they've taken it on the chin and have treated it as a lesson learned for future reference. One of the biggest lessons they learned from the industry is making sure they knew who they were getting involved with, before trusting them.
A Trustworthy Checklist

To help her and other mothers getting into the industry, Jaqi created a checklist of criteria. This list aimed to develop a simple procedure to use when dealing with someone who claims to have your children's interests at heart.
This list includes advice like checking if the person has a criminal record, and have they changed the spelling of their name to hide their identity. Other questions to consider are the person's track record in the industry, and whether they've resorted to bad-mouthing other models or agents or used underhanded methods to get ahead.
Chase Also Wants Part Of The Fun

Despite all of the challenges and the taxing effort that went into it, Ava and Leah spoke fondly of their hobby. This not only gave their parents peace of mind but got their older brother intrigued as well. Pretty soon, he also wanted to get into modeling.
Like they did with the twins, Jaqi and Kevin supported Chase with his eagerness to get into modeling. They went through the necessary procedure and admin, took some photos and sent them off to agencies. He was signed in next to no time.
Experience Paying Off

Using the experience she gained from the twins, Jaqi wasted no time in getting Chase fully kitted with an Instagram account. Just like she did with the twins, Jaqi would manage the account and control what is posted and what comments the boy is exposed to.
Jaqi's experience also taught her how to come up with a pretty catchy Instagram handle, as she gave her sone the catchy handle of @cut2thischase. Besides that, Chase also had a slight advantage as he loved acting, and had experience working on commercials. This made him even more attractive to agencies.
Growing And Growing Some More

Despite applying to various agencies, Jaqi and Kevin eventually opted to sign Chase to the same modeling agencies as Ava and Leah. His career was also helped by the fact that his mother had gained a lot of experience managing his sisters, and was using that experience to build his brand.
Not only has he already worked for the likes of Reebok and Ross among a host of other brands, while his Instagram account has also grown pretty well since it started. The growth in that department has been steady, and he currently has over 96,000 followers.
Good Looks Are In The Family

A lot of time with models, at least one of their parents has the features that make the model material and have been passed down to them. Like Gigi and Bella Hadid, who's mother, Yolanda, was a model before she married their businessman father and became a real housewife.
In the Clements children's case, both parents are quite good looking and hence have passed this down to their kids. This is probably why there are so many professional images of Jaqi with the twins because she has what it takes to be in the shots with the girls.
Setting Them Up For The Tough World

From the very start of their modeling adventure, Jaqi and Kevin simply wanted their children to be happy. This is why Jaqi took it upon herself to manage the Instagram accounts. It was as much about building a platform and a fan base, as it was about protecting them from the negativity of the industry.
What's more, she says, if they choose to do something else, she wouldn't hesitate to support them in whatever it is they want. In the end, to both parents, this is about allowing their children to have the best childhood possible.
All Work And No Play? No Chance!

While the modeling industry is demanding and can take a toll out of the kids and their parents, they know the importance of some time out for fun. Of course, the twins and their brother Chase have different interests from one another.
So the girls usually have their fun with their mom, while chase, he goes with dad. What do girls like to do for fun? They love to go shopping, of course. They also like getting their nails done and just spending time together in the shopping mall.
Boys Will Be Boys

While the girls are out at the mall doing some shopping and getting their nails done, the boys are out doing boys stuff. This means that when Kevin and Chase have boys time, they're probably out catching a game. Of course, sports aren't exclusive to boys, unlike doing nails, so sometimes the girls tag along to the games too.
Kevin Clements is a high school level swimming coach and has a World Championships Silver medal he earned while swimming on the US relay team in 2003. So he loves his sport, and as a swimming coach, his kids are all into swimming as well.
Living Your Best, Healthy Life

Because Kevin is a swimming coach and with his background in competitive swimming, he is naturally an advocate of a healthy and active lifestyle. Jaqi isn't a slouch herself and loves to exercise, so this has typically rubbed off on the children as well.
This means that they are always going on family rides and having active days. All of the kids swim while chase plays soccer, and the twins are into dancing as well. The family also play basketball together, and they follow a healthy eating plan to go with the activity. This healthy lifestyle is probably why they manage to pursue their hectic modeling careers.
Letting The Girls Have The Spotlight

We already know that Jaqi has what it takes to be in the photoshoots with her girls. One of the shoots was a Mommy & Me campaign she starred in with the girls. While the shoot was fun for her, she was always aware of the girls and their love for the spotlight.
So she tried not to be the center of the shots during this shoot and also tries to avoid doing too many shots with the girls. She acknowledges that she's there to support the kids, and if that means getting into some shots, then so be it; otherwise, she tries to stay in the background.
It Was A Very Good Year Indeed

As Jaqi predicted, 2017 was a terrific year for the girls and the family indeed. After a year in the modeling industry, they had over a million Instagram followers and had made numerous friends through their work in the industry.
They had also represented various brands through their modeling work such as Mommy & Me and Nail & Bone. Plus, to back up the social media exposure, Jaqi created a website. On it, you'll find all the clothing the girls have modeled, their portfolio, and a blog Jaqi manages and their industry experience and other family topics.
Taking On Another Media Platform

Following on from their success on Instagram, Jaqi and the girls decided to move on to a different kind of media platform. They made a call to start doing more videos and opened up a YouTube channel to start building a profile as vloggers.
Unlike Instagram, which was used purely as an exposure platform, becoming a Youtube vlogger, or Youtuber, has passive income potential. It requires some work, however, and it's said that to make $1000 out of AdSense, your video will need to get 500, 000 views.
Being Recognised As Influencers

In terms of general social media standards, once the Clements twins hit one million followers on Instagram, they were considered influencers. Of course, this has its own set of perks and opportunities, in particular, presenting the opportunity to charge brands for posts on your social media account.
Another way of becoming an influencer is when outsiders start saying that you are. This is what happened when CBSN made a documentary about Kidfluencers. For the documentary, they visited three families with young influencers in them, and one of those families was the Clements twins'.
Documenting The Pitfalls of Being an Influencer

The particular episode of the documentary was about the challenges and pitfalls of being a "kidfluencer." It looked at the modeling industry and how social media has become a factor in how more and more children are gaining exposure.
But one topic that came up with the girls was about the impact negative comments can have on them. Of course, Jaqi manages their social media account and filters the comments. But the showed that they were aware of the criticism in their comments, and blew them off, saying that the commenters know nothing about them and their real lives.
Preventing The Negative Effects Of Young Fame

Everyone loves a good child actor: from McCauley Culkin to Dakota Fanning and even Drew Barrymore. There's something about a child with talent that makes them endearing to the world. But it also takes its toll on them and often harms them at some point.
This was one of the main angles for the CBSN documentary, although they didn't seem to find any signs of this from the Clements twins. This is no doubt down to Jaqi and Kevin's conscious and hands-on approach to ensuring that their children still have a normal childhood while protecting them from the perils of the industry.
SMA Partners with the Clements Twins

With all of the pitfalls that go with having young children in the public eye as influencers, it's important to remember that there is still a lot of good that can come from it. One of these things is using that profile for a good cause.
For the twins, that opportunity came after their baby cousin was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy at just 10-months old. They decided to partner with an organization called Cure SMA, using their Instagram reach to raise awareness and funds towards SMA. This would prove to be a good trial run for something similar that would hit closer to home.
New Challenges for the Clements Family

It had been a solid few years for the Clements Family. It all started in 2017 with what Jaqi Clements predicted would be a good year for the family. It then continued into 2018 with further success on Instagram and opening a Youtube channel.
2019 was also setting up to be another good year for the family, which saw them collaborate with lots of cool brands and do their SMA campaign. But then, in October 2019, they stumbled across a health scare of their own when Kevin started complaining about a raised heart rate.
It Wasn't A Heart Problem Though

Although for an average person, a heart rate of 85bpm is fine, for a person as fit as Kevin, who is an elite athlete, that's what it is when he is mildly active. After alarming Jaqi about it, they decided to go to the hospital to get to the bottom of this.
After an EKG, chest X-ray and blood test came back fine. Kevin was sent back home with what doctors called pleurisy, where two large tissue between the lungs and the chest wall become inflamed. But then he started pushing a high fever and went back to the doctor, thinking he may have come down with the flu.
Doctors Finally Find The Diagnosis

While he told the doctors he felt like he was coming down with flu, his symptoms proved to be different. The fever was one thing, but when he started feeling his heart beating throughout his body while he was trying to take a nap one day, he knew something else was up.
So they went back to the hospital again, and this time the x-ray revealed a build-up of fluid at the bottom of the lungs. The doctors then sent him for a CT scan, which showed a mass at the center of his chest cavity. The mass was cancerous.
Trying To Be Positive

To complicate things even further, it wasn't regular cancer he was fighting, but a rare type called Cortical T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. For this kind of cancer, it didn't only require cancer treatment, but a bone marrow transplant as well.
Despite the scary diagnosis, the family rallied and chose to look at the bright side. They also started thinking of ways they could help Kevin to overcome this challenge. Most of all, as Jaqi put it, Kevin loved his family too much to let this illness get the better of him.
Sticking Together and Believing

Jaqi Clements is a superstitious person, we know that, but she also believes in wishes becoming a reality. She's had more than her fair share of success in this department since she managed to get everything she wished for in her husband and three children.
She also predicted that 2017 would be an excellent year for the family, especially for the girls who celebrated their seventh birthday on the seventh day of the seventh month. So she naturally felt that, no matter how bad this sickness was, their family would overcome it.
Doing What They've Always Done

When talking about the twins' premature birth, Jaqi always says that it was a sign of what they were going to be like as children: arriving early, and always ready for action. That's precisely what they did after their father's diagnosis.
As soon as their father's diagnosis and therapy solutions were confirmed, they took to their Instagram account to encourage people to get their marrow tested. This would increase their chances of finding a suitable donor for their father. Finding a donor would help to speed up the recovery from cancer. They were also hoping to help others in need of a marrow transplant to find donors, hopefully.
Life, And The Fight, Goes On

While the girls tried hard to encourage people to test themselves for a marrow match, Kevin started the process of chemotherapy sessions, run for about six months. And through all of this, the kids have continued their modeling and social media endeavors.
They've moved on to Youtube Q&A session as well as unboxing videos, vlogs, and Instagram posts. Jaqi believes that this challenge is going to test both her and Kevin physically and emotionally, but in the end, she also believes that they will come out on the other side even stronger.
Every Story Has A Silver Lining

Even after their dad’s diagnosis, the girls never gave up trying to help him. Through their massive platform, they tried finding a match for Kevin’s bone marrow in order for him to recover. Eventually, that match was found sooner than they thought, in Kevin’s brother. Thankfully the operation was a success.
These days, he’s on his way to recovery, with the girls constantly putting a smile on his face, despite the tough road ahead. In the meantime, Ava and Leah are now focusing much of their time raising awareness for their new-born cousin’s condition, who’s been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
