If anyone tells this woman that parrots can be friendly, we're sure she'll beg to differ. If the pain she must have felt in her ear is anything to go by, the Roatán parrots are no different from wild animals. Parrots are usually known more for talking rather than biting.

Perhaps on this Caribbean island a few miles off the Honduras northern coast, no one teaches the resident parrots to use their words instead of resorting to violence. We can only hope the stunning view of the blue water beaches of the island was able to cover up for this woman's painful experience.

Hand-Raising Contest

You'd easily assume there's some kind of hand-raising event going on at this location, but that's hardly the case. Notice the building that looks like it's about to fall? That's the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Tourists come to this location in Italy all the time because it's a major attraction. But that doesn't still answer why everyone has their hands raised.

The tourists that come here always try to leave with a forced perspective photo that appears as if they are pushing the tower. There are actually many pictures of people who have gotten it right. Perhaps from a different angle, you'd see that some of them got what they wanted. 

Pervy Apes

Our first instinct was to charge this ape with indecent assault, but it appears this lady doesn't mind. The behavior of these apes resembles human behavior so much that we could have mistaken them for humans wearing Halloween costumes. If you never believed the evolution theory that humans evolved from apes, this photo will have you reconsidering your stance.

This beautiful blonde lady must have come to this exotic place for new experiences, and she seems to have gotten more than she bargained for. Considering her looks were certain she gets many advances from men, but we doubt she ever considered herself to be attractive to apes as well.

No More Bullshit

We've never looked inside a bull's posterior before, so your guess is as good as ours as to what the man hoped to find. But what's a bull sculpture even doing in the middle of the walkway in the first place?

For those familiar, this is the Bund Bull of Shanghai, China, but we understand if you mistook it for the Bull of Wall Street in Manhattan, New York. After all, one inspired the other, so it's not strange they look similar. Interestingly, it is believed that stroking the sculpture's genitals produces good luck. This has made it tough for security to stop visitors from climbing it.

Alligator For Lunch

There are quite a lot of things to note in this picture, but let's get one thing straight. We have absolutely no idea whether it's the woman or the alligator that is in danger. Alligators are not naturally aggressive and rarely attack without provocation. In fact, someone once rescued an alligator and became friends with the reptile.

This woman's mouth seems to be wide open out of fear, which is understandable, considering alligators are meat eaters. But what's to say she wasn't planning to munch on the cute reptile spotting a pearly neckpiece? Despite not being too common, some people keep alligators as pets, so there may be no danger here.

A Yummy Tree

Here's that same Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy that we talked about earlier. This guy attempted to get his own version of a forced perspective picture but missed it by a few inches. Apart from trying to get pictures of themselves pushing or leaning on the tower, some tourists also make the tower out to be like ice cream on a cone.

Like the case with the former picture, there are people who have gotten this right. If this guy had also gotten it, it would have appeared as if he was really licking a chunk of ice cream off the cone. 

With This Hippo As Our Witness

Marriage proposals like this are special, and people go above and beyond to make it a magical experience. For Nick Kelble and Hayley Roll, making it magical meant having their hippo child Fiona involved. They have been just like a mom and dad to the hippo whom they've known since she was born.

The Cincinnati Zoo just happened to be the perfect place to pop the question. And judging from the look on their faces, our guess is that Hayley said yes! Fiona may not be able to take part in their nuptial, but her approving look at this proposal is more than enough for the couple.

Fatherhood With a Twist

Enjoying a vacation with the family is one way to strengthen familial bonds. This kid, however, had a different idea of what bond strengthening meant. Apparently squeezing his dad's nipples is a show of affection. We don't want to imagine how he treated his mom when she was breastfeeding him.

Of course, the dad cannot complain. Kids have a way of being cute no matter what they do. Even though this father-son time came with some pain, it cannot outweigh the benefits of travel for this kid. Children benefit a lot from traveling, and some of these benefits are improved social awareness and confidence.

We'll get back to the woman who's scared for her life in a moment. Let's first tackle why the other men in the water seem to be excited even though this woman seems to be in danger. Or could it be there is actually nothing to worry about?

Stingrays are a pretty common experience in the Cayman Island waters, but these ones don't seem to be as harmful as the species have been touted to be. These shark-related sea creatures are known for their immediate and painful sting, and it is believed to be deadly. But the ones in this clean ocean are known to be playful.

Who Ordered A Donkey?

Well, this is most likely the end of whatever love this child had for donkeys. What an interesting birthday gift he has received! This boy was always talking about how much he loved donkeys, so his parents decided to bring him to a farm on his birthday. Perhaps the donkeys he originally fell in love with never invaded his personal space like this.

But donkeys are actually some of the most lovable animals and can easily connect with humans. This was just an unfortunate encounter and we're sure the donkey meant no harm. Still, we doubt this kid would be getting rid of his donkey PTSD anytime soon.

Goat, Save Me!

The Colca Canyon in Peru is one place you might love to visit, considering it's the only place you can have the experience of seeing the largest flying bird in the world. But judging from this picture, we are beginning to doubt the safety of this entire experience.

The woman is visibly worried about the bird, and maybe rightly so. After all, the Andean condor has never been domesticated. But like most hawks, it may only get aggressive when its nest is being threatened. The llama on the other hand is always friendly and doesn't even have a problem with the woman holding on for dear life.

Please Bear With Us

This family appears so unusual because who takes a family photograph with everyone holding a pick weapon? Of course, we cannot fault them for wanting to spend quality time together, but a less creepy picture would have sufficed. This photo quickly went viral and had people wondering what was going on. In particular, they were curious about bears in their midst.

Generally, polar bears are not unnecessarily dangerous, but you wouldn't find them posing for pictures with humans either. Their ideal habitat is in the icy regions of the Arctic and it would be better for them to not have human interactions, considering they are already a vulnerable species.

Group Hug

We don't know whether stingrays are particularly biased toward women, but we are beginning to see a pattern here. This time, the playful creature is giving three women a group hug, but they seem a little worried about the creature. We hope they eventually calmed down because stingrays are not aggressive animals.

These sea creatures are a curious species that likes to play with divers and snorkelers, but it's best to give them space unless they come to you. Because of the constant human interaction stingrays of the Grand Cayman Islands have been experiencing, many of their generic behaviors have changed, as noted by some scientists.

Human Cargo

Put a group of young friends in a room and one can expect the wildest things to happen. Perhaps no one else had thought of fitting themselves into the luggage compartment of a plane except this petite cheerleader. We wonder if no one saw them playing like this because no commercial airline will let this happen.

Still, we would like to assume this playful experiment ended before the plane took off. Unless the trip is less than an hour, we cannot imagine that she would survive there without food, water, or even air. It's not something we would recommend to anyone.

Pick On Someone Your Own Size

Maybe children can easily tell a creepy smile from a genuine one more easily than adults. There may be a very good reason why this child looks scared of the dolphin even though it is smiling at her. What do you want, Dolphin? leave the little girl alone and pick on someone your size.

Interestingly, most kids are attracted to dolphins because of their playful nature in the water. But not this kid. It's common for kids to be scared of things they don't know. However, it's also not correct to paint dolphins as completely harmless creatures. Apart from the fact that they are carnivores, they can also get aggressive.

A Strange Love Story

This photo looks like it could easily be the poster for an upcoming romantic film. There seems to be some form of romance or affection going on between this fish and the woman. While that may sound strange to most people, scientists could argue that it's not entirely unfounded.

Apparently, not only are fish able to see and distinguish their owners from other faces, but they are also able to get excited when their owners approach their aquarium. We don't know for sure the relationship this woman has with the fish, but this is not a picture you get to see every day. 

Getting My Nails Done

Rhesus macaques are among the cutest monkeys in South, Central, and Southeast Asia. The photo seems to do justice in proving that correct. In addition to living close to human settlements, the monkeys have the widest geographical range of any non-human primate.

While it is true that they like living near humans, they do not necessarily have any interest in some of the things we do, such as taking photos. The macaque is refusing to pose for this selfie, no matter how hard the girl tries. Still, she was able to take a nice shot even though the monkey was just busy checking for dirt under his fingernails.

Third Wheeling

Vacations with romantic partners are great, and honeymoons are no exception. Usually, the idea is to enjoy each other's company. But even so, it's better not to get so caught up in it like these two lovers. They didn't even notice the inconvenience they caused the man who had to pull the horses out of the water after they rode them in there.

Honestly, we can't figure out how they thought riding the horse into the ocean was a great idea. Maybe they think they're in a fantasy or romantic movie. Despite how cute their romance is, it's unfortunate for the man who has to bear the brunt of it.

Improvised Sunscreen

It must have been a hilarious prank that some of this man's friends pulled on him. After burying him in the sand and exposing only his face, they threw chips around him, which attracted the seagulls on the beach. It appears the seagulls were considerate enough to help him protect his exposed forehead by improvising sunblock for him.

Most people would assume that the seagulls pooped on this man's face, but thankfully that's not the case. His friends also planned this aspect of the prank. They put sunblock on his forehead while he was asleep to make it seem like seagull poop. His reaction after noticing must have been priceless.

Too Cool For Games

It's great to get out of the house for fun activities together. The younger woman must have found a way to persuade the grandma to join her on this waterslide adventure, but the elderly woman doesn't seem to be having that much fun. She looks like she would rather be doing something else.

Perhaps it wasn't just what she expected out of it. Seeing how she donned her super cool sunglasses and hoodie, she doesn't seem like your typical elderly woman. She seems to be embracing more of her youthful self and probably has more fun activities she would prefer to this.

Rafting Isn't For Everyone

Water rafting may be characterized by three kinds of people. There are those who participate and consider it a sport, those who have never done it before, and those who have sworn not to do it again. Considering this lady fell out of the raft and continued being tossed by the raging water, we can assume she belongs to the last group.

The official photographer took a picture of her in this very awkward and embarrassing position. And to top it all, her nephew then uploaded it to the Awkward Family Photos website. Despite her unpleasant experience, this water activity is actually known to reduce stress and aid relaxation.

Trash Could Be Art Too

One may wonder what's so intriguing about garbage that a tourist would want to capture as part of his vacation photo album. Or is there something interesting there that we can't see? The funniest part is how he assumed such a serious pose for the photo. Maybe tourists are just captivated by anything foreign, even foreign trash.

There have been jokes on the internet suggesting that this man has a dedicated Instagram page for garbage spots like this. Many countries are learning to manage waste better than before. You won't find sights like this in European countries such as Germany or Sweden because they have more sustainable waste policies.

Who Knew Cars Could Swim?

We doubt that there is any hope for this vehicle. Due to the high tide at the beach, their vehicle appears to be out of commission. They probably weren't aware that the tide would reach it where it was parked. Sadly, when people vacation in a foreign country, they know very little about the environment.

We can only hope that this family's insurance will cover the damage the vehicle has sustained. For the family, this was the ultimate beach day fail. The vehicle must have been towed out eventually, and we hope they had a great time on the other days of their vacation.

Hanging By A Thread

Sadly, another family vacation photo has gone horribly wrong. In this picture, one of the kids hanging on a tent does not seem to be having as much fun as those smiling around him. However, we have never seen a more literal representation of what it means to hang out with the family.

Just like most people, we are finding it hard to wrap our heads around why the kid ended up hanging like that on the zipline. Perhaps the boy's father wanted him to face his fears. Outdoor activities like this are great for bonding. And as long as the kid remains tightly strapped, there's nothing to worry about.

An Expensive Prank

Millions of people visit the Grand Canyon each year, making it one of the most visited national parks in America. The famous tourist destination is known as one of the wonders of the world but is also known to be dangerous. Some people die during their visits.

If you were to receive a picture of your daughter falling off a cliff at this dangerous destination, you will undoubtedly be worried. But the girl was standing on a ledge when she pulled the prank on her mom and wasn't even in real danger. It wasn't only her mom who ended up falling for the prank, even news agencies covered the story.

Incomplete Tan

The funniest picture we've seen so far may just be this one, both due to the sunburn pattern and the hilarious story behind it. No one would have known what this woman had for lunch if she didn't end up sleeping off and letting the sun burn her to a complete tan.

Even though it seems unbelievable, she was eating from a bowl when she fell asleep. The only parts of her body that weren't burned were the outlines on her body, and we can clearly see the spoon and bowl-shaped pattern. We can't help but wonder how slowly one could eat that they pass out in the process.

Hotter Than Explosions

Do you think there's anything that can ruin your fun on vacation? For this woman, it appears there isn't. If a nearby explosion couldn't, then probably nothing can. In fact, instead of ruining her vacation, it became its highlight. After all, stuff like this doesn't happen all the time.

No wonder she didn't pass up the opportunity to document the event with a stunning photo. But how did she remain so calm in the face of an intense fire outbreak so nearby? When on vacation, there's just a different aura people have. We're pretty sure her reaction would have been different if she saw an explosion while at home.

Daddy Can't Be Trusted

Nobody in this picture would do high jump well. They don't seem to be able to lift themselves off the ground well enough. It seems like they wanted to be pictured holding hands together in the air, but daddy dropped his little girl while doing so. It wasn't deliberate of course, but we wonder if she will ever get over this disappointment.

On a positive note, this family vacation picture is so much more memorable than any regular one they could have gotten. The picture will never be forgotten, especially because it's already the subject of a meme on Reddit asking "why have you betrayed me, father?"

Obviously, there is something wrong with this picture. We know this is not the kind of picture she was hoping to get. Do you remember ever seeing those perfect shots of flowing hair coming out of the water? Well, that is what this girl was originally aiming for when she got this picture instead.

Sadly, it seems the perfect shots only happen in movies. And that's after many attempts, we're sure. Despite not getting the picture she wanted, she now has memories she will never forget. If seen from afar, one might think a sea creature is engulfing her face. Hopefully, she was able to get her locks untangled in time.

Spaghetti Locks

If we hadn't heard about the Chena Hot Springs in Alaska, we would have been left with so many questions. So how did this woman's hair get so frozen? This vacation destination offers a hot spring bath with an atmosphere temperature of -20 degrees Fahrenheit. That's how her curls ended up frozen.

After her husband shared her picture on Reddit, it gained a lot of attention. It's amazing to see how, even though her locks are frozen, she appears to be at a balanced temperature in the rest of her body. The fact that she is wearing a bathing suit is a wonder in itself.

There appear to be three friends enjoying a vacation together and happen to be covered in mud for some reason. We know you can expect strange things from people while on vacation, but we have no idea what the purpose of this mud might be.

What's even more confusing is how their hats managed to remain white despite their entire bodies being covered in mud. It's not far-fetched to assume that this dirt on their bodies may just be for fun, as mud festivals actually happen in some parts of the world. South Korea has hosted an annual mud festival every year from 1998 to date.

Feeding Problems

This woman must have assumed the bright pink color of this exotic flamingo was an indication of its gentle nature. But that couldn't be further from the case. Although flamingos are generally believed to be peaceful and calm birds, some of them could be aggressive toward humans, particularly the Chilean flamingo.

But even as this woman fed the bird, she was being cautious. Perhaps she was a little bit worried that her hand would also end up as its food. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. She was able to get a unique vacation photo in the end, so maybe it was worth it.

A Dangerous Song

We can't imagine being so high up in the sky and not being scared of falling. Especially when the only thing between the climber and the ground is just a thin rope. The stakes are high, but these guys seem to be professionals at this kind of thing. They have attempted stunts in dangerous situations like this in the past, so it's not their first rodeo.

They are a French music troupe called Houle Douce, and they perform in unconventional places. This time, their performance was on wires suspended over 4,000 feet in the air. These cliffs are located in Tianmenshan National Forest Park, an interesting location in China.

I Am The Boss Here

Children are the ones who aren't scared of anything these days. Although waterslides don't really have a reputation for being scary, there are some of them that go so quickly that they make people nervous about being flung away. It may not be an unwarranted fear because if the tube flips, they could sustain back and neck injuries.

Despite the fact that the dad appears relatively unimpressed, the mom seems to embody fear to the fullest. The most memorable expression is that of the child who is handling this ride so well. It's a great vacation picture they'd laugh about when they see it.

Don't Leave Me Out

Anyone who happens to be touring Puerto Rico on vacation has to check out the Castillo San Felipe del Morro. This centuries-old structure in San Juan has been standing since the 16th century and serves as a great monument to this day. Interestingly, there are also others who like to visit this place besides tourists.

Asides from foreign visitors, it seems some exotic creatures also love to visit this monumental place. For instance, here's a photobombing iguana who didn't want to be left out of history. The iguana probably jumped into the view of the camera for a timeless shot as well. We hope someone sent it its own copy.

Let Your Hair Down, Rapunzel

We can imagine that no one would want to sit behind this woman on the plane because of the inconvenience of her locks blocking the screen. Perhaps she didn't get the memo that passengers should always be mindful of fellow passengers and their spaces. Traveling could be enough hassle on its own, so there's no need to make it more inconvenient.

As seen in some clips on the internet, some people don't take kindly to disturbances like this. A short video on TikTok showed a man who ended up trimming the hair of the woman who blocked his screen. While that may be scripted, it's not a far-fetched reaction.

Overdressed For The Occasion

Beaches may be one of the best destinations for vacations, but not everyone is crazy about sand and water. If this girl's outfit is not a sign of rebellion, then we don't know what is. She came dressed like she was supposed to be attending a rock-punk party, and she stands out too conspicuously from the rest of her family.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with being uninterested in the beach, but it doesn't make it any less beneficial. According to some research published in the Health Place journal, spending time close to the ocean is great for physical and mental well-being. 

Glitching In Real Life

This woman wanted to capture the moment in a photo so she could remember this vacation forever. She tried her best to get a perfect shot but ended up getting a less-than-ideal picture. To get the shot she wanted, she had to take a panoramic shot, but it probably takes a professional photographer to do that right.

Panoramic pictures help you get better landscape photographs. But it's not easy to take those types of pictures, especially when you're not on steady ground. Our guess is that she didn't have a tripod on this trip, and it is an indispensable tool for proper landscape photography.

One With The Ocean

There are many fun things about this picture, including the fact that the parents of this family seem terrified of the waves while the kids are so calm. From the looks of it, they had entered the water for a family photo, but a huge wave turned it into something unexpected.

It's important to be able to recognize when the tide is too strong because experts recommend you leave the water for a while. However, this family seems safe. And compared to whatever picture they would have ordinarily gotten, we think it turned out much better this way because they would always find this funny and memorable in the future.

Weird Hotel Room

Maybe five-star hotels should put this picture up in one of their adverts as the type of room you'll avoid if you just go with their services instead. That's an amazing sales pitch in our opinion because no one would rather have what we see in this picture.

Bathrooms should always be properly located, whether in personal homes or hotels. Expert home architects would recommend that they shouldn't be within view. There should be something breaking up the line of sight of general living areas from the bathrooms. Apart from not being aesthetically pleasing, designs like this are inconvenient when sharing a room with someone else.
